Charlotte Littlehales is a songwriter, vocalist, arranger, teacher and multi-instrumentalist performer known for blending Americana and indie rock vibes with haunting folk melodies and jazz phrasing.

Born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, Charlotte began writing songs at the age of 15 and quickly put together her first band in high school. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she studied vocal jazz performance. While in Philadelphia, Charlotte had the good fortune of working with Scott Churchman (Scott Churchman, Ape School), Michael Johnson (Ape School), Justin Wolf (Lux Perpetua), Jesse Moore (Jesse Hale Moore), Brian Manser (Holiday, Second Floor Stories), Jeff Carter (Sandy), Samantha Pathe (Sandy, Second Floor Stories), Kelly Musser (Yankee Blood, Kelly Ruth) and more. In 2011 she moved to Southern California with her husband Phil Pardell (JB and the Movers, The Tommy Mitchell Show, Cassie B Project), a fellow musician and her partner in crime.

In addition to writing and performing her own original music, Charlotte scored the independent film King (2012), co-wrote and co-produced Louisville, KY based musician Carly Johnson’s debut album (due out 2017), and regularly collaborates with musicians near and far. Along with her husband, she also owns and operates Little Dell Music Studio, a private lesson studio for children and adults.

Charlotte currently performs locally solo, as part of a duo with North San Diego County-based guitarist Jeff Starkey, as a back-up singer with the Cassie B Project, and as the lead vocalist and keyboardist in the Stingers, a local 4-piece that plays soulful covers all over the San Diego area.
